Palomino Pencil Blackwing Volumes 73

The Blackwing 73 is a tribute to the legendary Lake Tahoe, on the border of the US States of Nevada and California. The lake is known for its deep blue water surface. Each of these pencils shows a pattern that represents the topography of the lake. The number 73 stands for the highest visibility of Lake Tahoe, which was measured at 73 feet.

Blackwing: With roots in the 1930s, the pencil developed by Eberhard Faber was discontinued in 1998. After many inquiries from various artists, Palomino finally resumed production in 2010. The Volumes 73 is equipped with a very practical flat and changeable white eraser.

For economical tips with unusually flat angles, we recommend Palominos or the KUM "Long Point" pencil sharpener.
